School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

The Institute of Allied Medical Professions’ School of Diagnostic medical Sonography provides students a high quality education in both the classroom setting and hands on experience in our labs. You will be taught by well trained, nationally registered instructors. Our students also go through clinical training at various health care facilities, medical centers and hospitals in the region. All campuses are with an excellent ultrasound laboratory to facilitate hands on experience. Offered in Westchester, Manhattan, Long Island, Atlanta and Delray Beach.
School of Nuclear Medicine Technology

School of Nuclear Medicine Technology

This program provides students with a comprehensive body of knowledge and skills and the opportunity for some of the finest clinical experiences. This program is designed to provide the essentials of Nuclear Medicine techniques. Our curriculum offers detailed experience in nuclear medicine techniques while exposing the student to newer imaging modalities such as SPECT scanning as well as full range of In-Vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures. School of Radiography

School of Radiography

In this two-year certificate program, students receive highly diversified instruction in radiation physics, radiation biology, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiographic procedures through a hybrid offering of on campus and online courses. Clinical course work includes assignments in general diagnostic procedures, computerized tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and other specialized imaging fields. Academic studies directly relate to the field of radiography. Offered in Atlanta and Delray Beach.

School of Radiation Therapy

The Institute of Allied Medical Professions Radiation Therapy Program prepares students for the clinical, theoretical, technical and psychological aspects of a career in Radiation Therapy. Delray campus offers this as a 24 month Associate Degree program open to students with no prior medical experience. The Atlanta campus offers this program as a 20 month certificate program or as a 16 month certificate program for students currently ARRT certified in Radiography. The curriculum includes classroom instruction and clinical internship in a variety of Radiation Therapy procedures and equipment operation. Offered in Atlanta and Delray Beach.

This program is a sequence of courses that prepares students for positions in Radiology/Imaging Departments and related businesses and industries. Learning opportunities develop academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement placement. The program emphasizes a combination of didactic and clinical instruction necessary for successful employment as an MRI technologist. Offered in Atlanta.

School of Nursing

The practical nursing program offers students basic to advanced studies in nursing theory and clinical practice. The curriculum will prepare the student to function as a critical thinker throughout the nursing process and within the scope of practice. The instructional plan is designed to progress the student in nursing knowledge and skills in fundamentals, pharmacology, nutrition, medical surgical nursing, mental health, gerontology, maternity and pediatrics. Hands on and observatory clinical experiences will be completed in major medical and nursing facilities. This is a 12 month program offering the graduate a Certificate of Completion and eligibility to apply for the NCLEX examination in a state of their choice. Offered in Delray Beach.
