PROGRAM GOALS:
1. The program will prepare students to demonstrate the knowledge base, technical skills and clinical competency required to develop into an entry-level radiation therapist.
2. The program will graduate students who exhibit professional and ethical behaviours, which are recognized by the standards, contained in the professional code of ethics and scope of practice as set by the ASRT.
3. The program will provide employers with radiation therapists who are competent in the affective, cognitive and psychomotor domain. The program will graduate students who appreciate lifelong professional learning.

School of Radiation Therapy

The Institute of Allied Medical Professions Radiation Therapy Program prepares students for the clinical, theoretical, technical and psychological aspects of a career in Radiation Therapy. Delray campus offers this as a 24 month Associate Degree program open to students with no prior medical experience. The Atlanta campus offers this program as a 20 month certificate program or as a 16 month certificate program for students currently ARRT certified in Radiography.
